We are striving to breed high Calibre working dogs (and when we say working we don't mean one of those dogs that chase a few stock around a small round pen) that have calm, bold and friendly dispositions and are practical all-round workers, who are suitable for work in both paddock and yard, on both sheep and cattle, these dogs should be naturally brainy and obedient dogs that excel at anything that is asked of them.
OUR GOALS
We aim to breed dogs that naturally 'know' how to work stock (You shouldn't ever have to teach a dog how to work, it should be INHERITED NATURAL INSTINCT, You should only have teach the dog some commands in which to communicate instructions).
To breed dogs that excel at both practical work and Trialling.
We prefer a dog with short to medium coat, strong back and flat top-line, leggy, light to medium boned; that is responsive, keen and determined, with that 'old-style' working ability.
A dog that is able to use themselves, that can there (wherever 'there' is) quickly.
A dog that is tough enough to get the job done quietly and efficiently, that has the heart and mind to excel at any goal you set in front of him/her, to have an attitude you can count on and to always give 100%.
A dog that does not need motivators and is always willing to learn and experience new things.
A dog with a friendly, optimistic and happy nature that works with you and enjoys working with you.. Your best friend and pride and joy.
